Uprizine is an intersectional feminist magazine and activist organization that was founded in 2017, in response to a sexual assault on our university campus. We aim to create conversation and raise awareness surrounding social issues at Temple University Japan or that are specific to Japan, through opinion pieces, creative writing, art, and informative journalism. It is run by students and for students, through the TUJ Zine Club.
All articles on this site are filtered through the editorial staff at the TUJ Zine Club. However, the site is not maintained by and is editorially independent of Temple University Japan and Temple University. The views and opinions expressed here are not a representation of the University and are those of the respective writers.
We're always looking for new writers, illustrators, and photographers!
